Excentree Give – Ethical Fashion and clothing that gives back
Excentree would like to announce that £3 from every Excentree Garment sale in the months of August will be paid to the Pakistan Flood relief.
What is GIVE?
GIVE is the Excentree policy of help and hope for those who are less fortunate.
Giving is one of the greatest gifts that we possess as people, being able to give inspires joy, personal pride and helps others succeed in their lives.
Currently our GIVE policy is simple.
We take 50 pence (GBP) from the sale of each garment and invest it in the Excentree GIVE Fund. When we have enough money we will take that cash to a conflict affected nation in our world and set up an orphanage to support the children who are worst affected by conflicts in our society.
We hope to provide early childhood support, as well as a continued commitment through to the higher education, or work placement experience of each child who finds a home out our orphanage. We hope to achieve this in several locations across the world and with your help we will.
As Excentree grows our promise to GIVE, will also grow.
Giving outside of Excentree GIVE
Remember that giving is not just amount cash input. Giving is about standing up, opening our eyes and seeing what exists around us. Do the little things that help other people and the environment that do not burden you.
- Pick up the piece of litter you see in the street.
- Visit a stranger in hospital.
- Help a person when you see they are in distress.
- Share in the joy of others and be compassionate in times of despair.
- Do something at work to make a colleagues life easier.
Do one good deed everyday and it will lighten your life, make a habit of good deeds and it will brighten your life.
